The sprint course at Bonner. I concentrated on maintaining a steady pace, and paying attention to how my body felt. I hope to be able to duplicate this pace this weekend. Last year, I foolishly started too hard (who was I going to beat, any way ???) This year, my goals are a steady pace, and have fun.

I checked out the horse trails at Wyandotte today. They weren't too overgrown, and were pretty nice in some places, so they might be a good place to jog until the leaves fall.

I was not that into jogging today, so I walked a lot. My body was really confused; first week of the NFL season, and I'm not lying on the couch drinking a beer???? My, how times have changed...

I went for a slow (hopefully, fat-burning) jog at PNS. I did, indeed, see quite a few furry white things while I was there. But they were all deer tails; no sign of the squirrel.
