Billygoat at Pound Ridge

9.8 miles per Garmin

Skipped 14 and took the right fork to avoid the climb on the left fork. Very nice course. Took advantage of many people around till about 13 and then was with just Kent and Melissa to the end. Lost a few minutes going to 21, sucked down the re-entrant on the right but relocated quickly at a stone wall. Felt surprisingly good the whole time.

Niels and Becky's route choice training at Tarrywile

Direct route thru woods. Followed mtn bike trails part of the way so it wasn't all woods running. Then had trouble finding re-entrant so lost time in the circle. Ran back along the trail, per instructions.

Trail route choice

Jogged the flat section of the trail but walked the uphill section. Walked thru the woods straight to the control this time. Walked/jogged back thru the woods, again picking up mtn bike trails when they were going the right direction.

Fun exercise. Will be interesting to see the results.
