45 situps. It was a busy day with no time for much else. I was appropriately sore in places from the Highlander yesterday with no real health issues.

Orienteering race (Foot) 4:35:50 intensity: (35:50 @2) + (2:00:00 @3) + (2:00:00 @4) 26.2 km (10:32 / km) +450m 9:42 / km

HVO: Hudson Highlander. Lots of fun running and some somewhat intimidating technical parts of the course. I ran most of 19.56 miles. This was a pretty good run for me despite errors on some controls before the last sprint loop, and cramping-up on the last loop for a while. More on this later...

From Julius West Middle School in Rockville, MD, to Rte. 28, to Fallls Rd., to Julius West Middle School, and once around the soccer fields. While Max was getting started with his team's soccer game, I got in a little run. I was exploring a cut-through road and just loosening-up. It was rather windy and cool with some slight rain falling. I hardly sweat wearing long sleeves and sweat clothes.

From Northfield Rd., Bethesda, MD, to Arlington Rd. with Max on his trail-a-bike, then to the Bethesda Metro Station. Had I anticipated it being such a nice morning, I would have been more likely to ride all the way downtown.

Bethesda, MD. From Northfield Rd. to Old Georgetown Rd. via Greenwich Park, to Johnson Ave. to Heampstead Ave. to McKinley St. to Garfield St. to Roosevelt St. to the trail at Jefferson St. to Northfield Rd. I was rather busy the last 2 days at work. When I got home last night, it was about midnight and I sort of pigged-out. The end of the fiscal year can is often busy. I didn't get a chance to test out my hip yesterday but the rest was probably still the best thing. I did test it today and it felt okay most of the time. There was some occasional discomfort in the first 1.5 miles. I'm not sure how it'll hold up going long but then so many things can break when going long.

45 situps. I got my tooth fixed today. There were actually two to fix. The result was not exactly the same as it was earlier but I think it's fairly convincing. I hadn't known they could do that and do it so quickly. I was tempted to run but thought better of it.
