Orienteering 45:58 [4] ** 5.9 km (7:47 / km)
spiked:5/15c shoes: Inov8 Rocklite 295 w/Studs

Mine Falls Park
First orienteering event of the year! Felt great to be out in the woods again - even though its only Mine Falls. Felt strong and knee seemed to be OK during and after. Orienteering was a little rusty - but very small mistakes or hesitations on a map that needs some updating.

Pleasant Valley, NY
Memorial service for Eva's godmother in NJ. Stayed at Harry's for the night at Pine Hill.
Really nice woods behind his place. Went exploring early in the morning - very intricate terrain and numerous abandoned cars in the woods.
Found the non-studded shoes to be useless on the hillsides with the wet leaves - need to stud these for West Point. Felt good to run in the woods again.

Spinning w/Rich
Quite warm again in the studio. Some quick 140+ sprints and 400W climbs.

Gate City Striders Training Run
Need to start working on some speed - so went to check out the Gate City Striders group run. They have been doing a 5 mi loop most of the winter from Pennichuck school. Nice group.
Felt good @ 7:45 min pace with the group and felt strong at the end. First time running the roads for over a year - so I felt the difference.

Spinning 50:00 [3]
shoes: Shimano Bike Shoes

Quite warm in the spinning room this evening - even under the fans.

Have started weighing myself before and after the ride. Lost 2.4lbs during the ride - obviously water loss.
