Lets start the New Year by trying to stay logged on and record the training. Skis felt a bit slow and the knee is still stiff. Got the heart rate up though - clean out the pipes. Lots of people out on the trails with the New Year's resolutions.

Met one of Canada's premier marathoners Jerry Ziak out on the trails. He is just tapering for the Houston Marathon where he is trying to meet the Canadian 'B' standard for going to the Bejing Olympics. I guess his grandfather is from Rossland and it is first time back here. Funny the people you meet in Rossland.
