Medium Distance Sage Stomp
Ugh! Huge mistakes at beginning trying to get used to this section of map. Started getting better into the latter part of the race. Saw Dave at #11 and picked the wrong route around the pond to #12. Felt strong at end. Need to work map reading and running at limit and staying in contact.

Sage Stomp - Sprint Event
Not a good effort orienteering. Estimate 8min of errors. Although 5-1/2min attributed to misplaced controls #4 and 11. Some people found them early others (like myself) circled till we found them. Neat area but needs some extra fieldchecking.

- Cool weather. Felt a bit sluggish on hills. Couple bobbles with ~5min of errors. One error on route choice #7-8 - maybe faster around on trail (though Phil's time was 1-1/2 slower and he spiked). Second error was #10-11 went up unmarked new trail that paralleled mapped trail - 2min lost at end.

Run from Black Diamond to Jubilee Field for Aanika's soccer game. Hot weather (80F) but not humid. Raced another runner along Centennial and then met Greg near the water tower.

Run to Jubilee Field for Aanika's soccer game. Up Drake, across to Miner's, Larry's Loop and Centenial to Iron Colt. Warm weather 80F and lots of climb. Felt good even after yesterday's biking - missed the bear at home.
