Weight Circuit at Trail Aquatic Center
Left Knee at 80% of Right
Doctors visit today indicates the ACL may be still torn. I have had numerous incidents of knee giving way. Usually occurs when I am not paying attention or during unexpected loading. Example was bumping into the coffee table in the dark - my knee buckled. Still do not have full motion of the knee - about 80% and cannot fully straighten the knee. Otherwise it is pain free and am still hobbling a bit.

Tramway Loop

Lets start the New Year by trying to stay logged on and record the training. Skis felt a bit slow and the knee is still stiff. Got the heart rate up though - clean out the pipes. Lots of people out on the trails with the New Year's resolutions.

Met one of Canada's premier marathoners Jerry Ziak out on the trails. He is just tapering for the Houston Marathon where he is trying to meet the Canadian 'B' standard for going to the Bejing Olympics. I guess his grandfather is from Rossland and it is first time back here. Funny the people you meet in Rossland.
