Orienteering 1:30:17 [5] 11.0 km (8:12 / km)

Day 1 Rochester A-meet. Red course (F21) 8.2km 280m climb. Physically felt the fittest I have done in a few years, technically still down the drain: 12 minute mistake at control 2 after using a dodgy attackpoint, otherwise pretty clean.
Two rest days and vitamin C seem to have prevented cold.

Definitely felt like I was getting ill today so took a preventative rest day.

Intervals (Foxdahl) 49:18 [3] 6.4 mi (7:42 / mi)

45 seconds orienteering pace, 15 second jog, for 43 minutes with 3 minutes steady running either end. All on grass (Boston Common and Public Gardens, fallling over pigeons and squirrels). Feel fit, but tired, maybe am fighting off a bug.

Strength 45:00 [3]

3 x usual circuit at home. Feeling a bit tired, hope I'm not getting ill.

Orienteering 1:22:00 [4] 9.0 km (9:07 / km)

Green course at Regis College. Course length was actually 5km plus a bit of climb, but ran a good 3+ km in circles, trying to get used to a thumb compass and battling with a shockingly bad NEOC map. The area itself was actually fairly nice, As for my own navigation problems, maybe I'd better go back to using a base plate compass next weekend for the A-meet.
