Orienteering long 7:41:48 [2] *** 26.0 km (17:46 / km)

Hudson Highlander 14.
Sunny and cool, a near perfect day.
With Francis Hogle from start to end. Good match physically and two navigators are better than one. Except for #12 where we both went to sleep. Missed the small train between 11 and 12 and finally ended up on the larger trail to the south. 15 to 20 minutes lost there. Only big mistake though.
Only walking from about a quarter into the trail section. A little concerned on the last loop as we were both tired and hurting, but we kept moving and finished with lots of time to spare.
Not much food left when we got in, but I wasn't hungry. A quart or so of chocolate milk was just fine.

IBM Poughkeepsie 5K Fun Run/Walk.
Very flat course, maybe 10M climb, around the complex. FR measures a little less than 5K, probably right. 20 to 25 seconds faster than last year, but I'm doing much more running this year.
