Easy running warm up/down 10:27 [2] 2.01 km (5:12 / km) +18m 4:59 / km
shoes: Integrators

Warmed up before the BAOC Sprint Champs: gotta take this one seriously... even though the fourth time around, things are getting kinda repetitive...

Strides warm up/down 2:10 [3] 0.49 km (4:25 / km) +5m 4:12 / km
shoes: Integrators

2×(run 0:40, easy 0:20 (or so)).

Orienteering race 14:31 [4] *** 2.96 km (4:54 / km) +28m 4:41 / km
spiked:11/12c shoes: Integrators

This was my second-fastest run in the four years of BAOC Sprint Champs (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6). Not that I am in a particularly good shape... probably the easiest course.

Orienteering race 14:38 [4] *** 2.81 km (5:12 / km) +53m 4:46 / km
spiked:11/13c shoes: Integrators

The Chase. Started third and boomed immediately. Caught by the tandem of Syd and Mattias Eriksson, who both pulled away on the leg to the last control; Syd, as if minty fresh; Mattias, just a bit.

Of course it was all yesterday's 4+ hours of rogaining...

Baylands/NWR, with Syd for more than half the way. Felt great.

Easy running warm up/down 10:32 [2] 2.01 km (5:14 / km)

Warmed up at De Anza. Eric, Mikkel, and Tapio—more than half of Jukola Team 2005!—were in attendance.

Short intervals intervals (Repeats) 23:23 [4] 4.02 km (5:49 / km)

5×400 (actual 400) at R pace. I first felt like cutting it short, quite tired after the weekend's adventure... but after a couple, actually was going to do 6 or 7... but Eric thought 5 would be the most appropriate for the first repeat-focused week. He did 76s, Tapio, 82s, everyone else, in-between... 79 77 77 76 77.

Medium pace running tempo 3:57 [3] 1.01 km (3:55 / km)

A closing Luchik 1000 at T.
