A disaster of a race near Phoenix. Firstly, the map was incredibly rough around the edges to the point where simple terrain reading was difficult (half the map had 20 foot contours and the other half had 40 foot for some reason?) The running was not made easier by the deadly cacti that loomed around every corner. This was not a fast race.

A desert orienteering course outside of Phoenix with some interesting maps and manual punches. This race was actually a lot of fun.

Two sprint courses at Arizona State University in Tuscon. They were pretty interesting, featuring some multi-level navigating. I wish they had SI though.
