QOC Wheaton meet Red course. Very tough to find controls today as they were either in pits or hidden in dead fall that was not on the map. The course notes did mention new dead fall so guess I should have known the controls would be hidden in it.

Bikram yoga with Luisa. Great to do the hot yoga after being in the cold woods.

LSD treadmill run. .56 mile warm-up then 4 miles at 6.8 - 7.7 MPH then .5 mile cool-down.

Running 28:20 [5] 3.46 mi (8:11 / mi)

5K run on the Cybex treadmill. The total distance include warm-up & cool- down which is part of the program. Level 4 / 7.5 MPH. This was harder than I thought it would be today. Probably because of the extra distance I did yesterday. I had to reduce the speed down to 6.8 for a minute to recover just before the last hill.

Treadmill run. LSD training of 6.8 to 7.5 MPH with 1 mile warm-up and with .25 mile cool down.

Running 36:12 [4] 4.0 mi (9:03 / mi)

Tempo training treadmill run. 1 mile warm-up, then stretching. Then .25 miles to get rolling again followed by 1.25 miles at steady 8.2 MPH (7:19 pace). 1.5 miles at 6.5 to 7.5 MPH with cool down. I did not think I was going to make it to 1.25 miles at the 8.2 MPH pace but just keeping knocking out quarter miles and ended up making it fine. Next week try for 1.5 miles at tempo.

P90X 1:12:30 [5]

P90X Shoulders and Arms workout with Luisa followed by Ab Ripper-X. Very good workout. I was feeling pretty good after the run and did more reps then past few weeks on this workout.
