Along Lake Michigan - w/ John

Planned 8 miles, then he tried to make me run 10, but I was tired starting with mile 2! I suspect the heavy beers from night before, combined with hot and humid did not help either. I was just so tired... Oh, and then we didn't drink enought cause I was thirsty...so need to plan that better.

Subtracted 20 min of breaks for icecream and stretches and such. I'm a bit weary about this VA 1/2 marathon coming up.

Boot camp 1:05:00 [3]
shoes: Saucony Omni

Today we did a bit of a fitness test, along with other drills,

Pushups: 15 + 15 girly ones
Sit-ups: 100
Plank: 1:40
Ran: 7:53

They said that was a mile, but I'm gonna measure it, cause there's no way.

Running (trail paved) 41:31 [3] 4.0 mi (10:23 / mi)
ahr:157 max:173 shoes: Saucony Omni

Then I felt pretty energetic, after the afternoon nap (after the ball game + beers) + caff gel (cause I was sleepy) => had to go running...

had to stop a few times...

2nd day boot camp

yesterday biceps were crying. i'm pretty sure the butt will hurt now for 2 days! this is something else! Today we did a whole bunch of jump rope, jumping jacks, squats, lunges, and this funny thing where your partner is holding you with a bungee and you try to run. Forgot what that's called.
