2 whole lighted loops (I think it takes me about half hour each... with all the breaks and everything). The skis were gliding just right, I really felt like I improved a bit more tonight! had to leave early to pack... and of course i didn't pack. very fun, looking forward to next week.

L-peak, newly waxed skis, beautiful!

oh, and I was gliding and just could not get my self peeled off the trails. so much fun. then attended the class again, so that was interesting..oh and they put the candle lights too on some of the path, so romantic :)

went twice down the 2 tier.. no falls ;) :) yeye!

lessons learned: stay on ball of feet, keep weight way in front, keep poles closer to body when poling.

definetely wrong wax, gave up after 30 min. left the skis to get them properly waxed. probably lookin into getting my own "kit".

used some "super aloe" on my upper back, kind of a ben-gay thing, it burned my back real bad... tought me a lesson to use that before exercising. well... the skin on my back is still sensitive, but my back doesnt hurt no more....:) you choose.

green bush.

started about 4pm, big goal to complete purple (5 miles or so) by dark.

and didn;t know about the lighted loop, first time sking there, all by myself, and almost no-one in the woods. so i had to rush all the time, to make sure I make it by dark. I do not (DO NOT) like to rush! anyway, I could not even focus on form because of all rush. hearing coyotes did not help ;)

and whoever said that greenbush is not hilly, I have something to say about that!

oh, I think my wax was off or something, or i had simply no energy, cause I could not move... it was a hard workout.

w/ all that said, I can't wait to go again:) (after I wax may skis again and eat some honey before!)

Was about to go home and rest, but I figured I waited for this snow for a while and was not gonna miss it. Found out there was a lesson going on so joined the group half hour late but still got some stuff out of it (how to hold the poles, lift hips, push on front side of foot...anyway, i'll go back, cause it was pretty good!)

there really wasnt a workout as we mostly sat around and listened and practiced about 20% time. My big toes were frozen in the end. So after i warmed them up they were a bit swollen and hard at touch. weird... not sure if that's normal. they don;t hurt, so no frost bite.

got to remember to bring stone soup next time for sharing!

1 shortedned lit loop (no big slide, no two tier
break to get glasses
1 full lit loop

had to return robby's skis, so might as well ski a bit. and snowed, and snowed ...and some more... a LOOOT. it was quite a workout. managed to stay vertical even down the two tier. oh, so I went back to the car to get my glasses cause i could not see a thing down the hill, and as soon as i got at the top of the two tier some guy was recording and i was a bit embarassed of my winded state, cause I completely forgot to put glasses on before heading downhill. So I'd have to say no clue how i stayed up, cause i didn't see much of what was going on.

tried the swix straps and was not extremely impressed. (it hurt my wrist..) so i'll stick w/ my current ones, besides, i really need to practice w/out poles.

tomorrow should be an awesome day to ski, if i decide to go.

lapham peak, w/ robby

did the lower loop, that we cut the loop at the half of the first big hill and skipped two tier. snow was good, he's definetely imporving... and I am too :) I tried today skiing w/out poles and I think it really helps. i might do that tomorrow!

Sunburst w/ Robby

I skied, he snowboarded. I can't qualify this as workout, but hey, that's what we do in wisconsin in the winter..ski! tried the jumps and fell almost every single time, but came out ok. Robby dislocated his shoulded a bit during a jump, but it's all good.

UUuuuhhhhh, forgot to mention I don;t even know how I messed up my ribs area but can't do abs or laugh now... so pretty critical ;)

Lapham peak, the man made loop, a number of times (anywhere between 5 and 10)

The wed race was going on and Charlie was flying! He tought me a new thing on using my arms and upper body and I bet it'll hurt tomorrow. It was so much fun, and the race just added to the fun, it was not a hinderance as i initially thought. can't wait to get outthere again, and take Robby too!

Brown deer, Y, the sub instructor today (laura) was a bit annoying, making this workout really worse than it is. On top of that this guy was screaming every 5 seconds, i even asked him to quiet down as it was disturbing people from working out, but he didn't listen...so I got my iPod, cranked it, and this way i didn;t have to listen to either him or the instrcutor. luckily, neither comes on mondays usually :);) i really like Corey, our normal monday instrcutor, makes the hour go by so fast, and you're in good amount of pain in the end...

...got myself a new pair of ski gloves...can't wait to go again!
