Paddle (Sea Kayak) 2:00:00 [3]

Able Tasman Coast - Marahau to Torent Bay

Yet another crazy thing. Huge waves (2m+), wind, rain... I was so happy when I finally got to the shore!

Biking (MTB) 2:00:00 [3]

The craziest MTB ride ever! Our "guide", Simon, would prettry much go anywhere, trail or no trail, 45deg, through bushes or whatever came. I only ended up once off the trail in the semi cliffy side of the hill. Luckily the tropical forest made my fall quite smoothy and only got a huge bruise and yet another scar...

Swam at Waipatiki beach half way. Awesome waves.

Running (treadmill) 47:45 [4] 5.0 mi (9:33 / mi)
shoes: NB 1060

Stretch/Strength (body pump) 1:00:00 [3]
shoes: NB 1060

Felt a bit tired, so went easy on the weights. I may have to take a rest day tomorrow...or something :)

It's COLD! It like gets to your bones the second you get outside (either that or I'm a wimp :)

Orienteering 1:00:00 [1]
shoes: Nort face

Yellow course - "training" session. Icy, (ice + 2" water on top, the best!)

Saturday Dec 13, 2008 #

Running (trail paved) 1:41:33 [4] 10.0 mi (10:09 / mi)
shoes: Nort face

Up north - solo

temps were 50s, and had to cancel ski, but way too awesome to pass up on some good run. the trail was quite frozen and slippery the first 1.5mile. Legs a bit sore (calves).

I am feeling so happy I was able to run 10 miles!! Oh, yeah!

Cut it a bit short of 9 miles. Kinda cold. The trail was plowed but some icy patches. Sunny in spots, windy in spots, but overall not too bad. I need to wear a vest, second time my back or chest feel cold.
