Morning run: just dusting of fresh snow made it for some tough gliding conditions, max. speed was reduced, hard work going down hills. I was so wasted at the end of it, I went for food and a different pair of skis.

shoes: Fisher RCS skating

while Fisher pair was generally slower, it made up with even gliding, so I could rest going down hills. That concludes a very good winter skiing season for me. Snow is almost gone in NYC, too.

Skiing at Lapland Lakes. Super fast firn snow, some soft ice spots.
2 Perimeter loops without hard climbs on Karhu Polku.

After short brake went for same loop one more time. Drizzling, just above freezing mark, still great gliding.Legs are tired, arms are fine.

to Victory Field + 12 x 300/100 (66-69 sec) + back home. Nice, sunny, cool (40F), a little windy. Saw hawk's successful attack on a pigeon, and following lunch for this bird of pray.
