Note

It was one of the best training weekend in latest history for me, I am lucky to have couple of great athletes and friends to train with. One shell cherish such days.
7 AM

trail run hills (easy-MP-T) 1:33:14 [3] 17.5 km (5:20 / km) +400m 4:47 / km
slept:6.5 weight:154lbs shoes: Adidas Kanadia Trail

Tested Z-man's training loop with Garmin and Polar GPS units: Polar was in 1 sec recording mode, Garmin was in smart recording mode, got very similar results: 14.81 km vs 14.84 km. Started easy on this cold day (~42-44F), after warm up we started to push the pace a little, and last 30 min it was O-race effort for me, and somewhat between easy and medium effort for Z-man. Great feeling after we finished that loop and I went for a short cool-down loop. GPS parsing is nice, I did not know I can do that.

Vetting with Z-man and Speedy at Elk Neck, map is still good, mountain laurel is tough, but passable. Took a dive in to the lake water 5 min into the run, got mouthful of sand, it kinda sucked for next 5 minutes, but it was sunny, ~60F, coldish wind, so warmed up and dried out fast. It is nice to have such a strong course setting team, many hands make work easy.
