felt OK for first 9 miles, then muscles got tighter - the stride became shorter, last mile started to feel shin on my left leg, that is not too good, will start Ice therapy right away. Happy with my time, could not be more than a minute faster if stayed loose.
Did not realize Dmitriy was in the race right behind me all the time, till he waved his hand to me after finish. And one more encounter with NYRRC executives - NYRRC magazine editor and the club VP Gordon Bacoulis - kicked my ass during last mile (I did not have finish kick today). Splits:
