Skiing at Lapland Lake: perimeter loop + Joki Latu. Conditions are great, best for the season, gliding was good, but still processed cold snow is not a match for this pair of skis.

to Forest Park + 1 long and 2 short horse loops + back home. Legs felt sluggish, still recovering from slam dunk skiing. Better as I went along. Cool ~-2C, will snow later.

Day 2 at LL: cold in the morning (-15C) but improving fast. Perimeter loop + Leilan Latu + Tuulen Tie. Body getting adopted to this skiing regiment, not too much stiffness in the morning. By the time I was done it was -8C and decent gliding.

Skiing with Speedy and KPop, dropped speedy half way, nice gliding with warmer snow (~-6C). Nice final training for this weekend of skiing. Next week - may be trip into DVOA land. Broke my $320 pole on a climb effort :(, hope to get a replacement.

Planned just perimeter loop, but at lodge met with Bernie, Anna and Elina, so we skied together on flatter trails, Girls are much faster than I remember them from at least 2 years ago, tried my swix triax poles, a little long for them, but lightness and stiffness makes difference for quick V1 and V2 styles.

Second training after some food and tea. Felt good, but pressed for time. Gliding is good, but cold snow is not not perfect for these Atomics.

At Lewis Morris Park with KPop - pushed pace at times, felt good running on a cold an sunny day.
