Trail run with map at Surebridge Mntn, while Kseniya and Alexey ran their improvised course, felt great this cold (~24F) day. Cloudy day, had touble reading the map on a run, even with contact lens.
Back to Z-man's place for New Year Eve celebration.

to Forest Park + 4 loops (orange-blue trail) + back home. Ground frozen, decided to try new trails, improved by park by layering them with wood chips, a little too soft for warm days, perfect for days like today. Honest 3+ effort for most of it. This loop has ~ 3% climb, while most of my loops in the park range from 1.5 to 2%.

Nice hike in cold weather with Kseniya and Nadya in Northern Jersey, some great views, nice woods, 1" of so desired for skiing fresh snow on the ground.
Dinner at Z-man's place (he actually cooked while we were hiking :) after the hike.

To Forest Park with Valeriy, then 6 hilly loops at moderate effort. Record warm day (~59-68F). It felt good running, minor knee discomfort at the end, no lasting effect.

3 long horse loops in Forest Park, snow still on the ground, not too slippery. Felt good running on this nice sunny and cool morning (~33F). Legs felt it afterwards, since this is the longest run I have done in a month or so.
We planned to go skiing this weekend, but forecast does not look good at all, with major warm-up and rain.

One perimeter Loop in Forest Park on a snow covered soft trails, (sunny, ~29F). Great feeling to run, no pain. Very conservative effort.
