30 m into the race I realized, that I do not ware contact lens, so very cautions tactics were implemented on this course: if I can not read the details, I just had to bring myself on compass into the center of the circle, and hope I can see the bag. That sort of worked, but the need to constantly stop and read the map added ~ from 30 to 60 sec per km. Otherwise, very clean execution, especially first half, long legs routs were not optimal, though. I started this course 30 minutes after everybody, so I had woods to myself, with occasional sightings of Blue runners. Green mapping was sub-par, contours are superb. Interesting course, some short legs are too short, in my opinion.
