Track Running race (Time Trial) 8:10 [4] 1.0 mi (8:10 / mi)
1:42, 2:02, 2:16, 2:08
Hmm.. looks like I need to work on my speed.
It was really weird running a track (can't even remember the last time I've been on one), and I also discovered I have no idea what a pace for a mile should feel like. Hence, 1/4 of a lap from the end, I realized that I was almost done, and sped up significantly.
Didn't really feel like I worked as hard as I could have at the end.
Based on my splits, I would think that I have low endurance, but when I run the 1/3 mile trail around our house (usu. abt 20 mins for 6 laps), which twists and turns and goes around hills, my time per lap generally gets a few seconds better each time. Perhaps this is familiarity with the trail, or perhaps the interval nature of uphill/downhill?

Checking out the new growth out back with Rick. Lots of alder, cottonwood, tadpoles.
Carried some rocks back- thinking about making one of those reflexology paths.
