GLOF O-Cross. Was doing a decent job of sticking with the lead pack until I hit the killer climb up to 4 and couldn't manage very well. First loop lost about 3 minutes on the leaders, 3rd loop felt strong and lost about 3 minutes on the leaders (lack of competitive pacing). The problems I faced came in the second loop where I lost around 10 minutes. I rolled my ankle on the way to 3 while side-hilling just behind Graham E and Ali Crocker. I had to walk for around 10 minutes before I could run again and made a 2-3 minute parallel error on 4 (thought I climbed up the giant killer hill on a different gulley than I did)
Great weekend of racing overall as far as courses, terrain and event center were concerned, and decently satisfied with my races. I was pretty slow but consistent. Although my navigation wasn't perfect and every race I made a single 2-3 minute error that I wasn't happy about, I also managed to avoid any larger errors. I think I can build on this weekend and managed to do a little bit better than my lackluster COCs (particularly in the middle 8 min behind winner vs 12 and in the long 30 min behind winner vs 1 hr)
