GLOF long, really interesting race but physically demanding. Felt like my navigation was pretty good except I lost focus at the map exchange and made a 3 minute error on 14. Finished in 14th place just under 30 minutes behind the winner. Conditioning was quite a huge problem for me on this race and cost me my chance to finish in under 2 hours (which was my goal heading in). I lost 10 minutes to the leader on the 1st half but 20 minutes to the leader on the 2nd half.

GLOF Sprint. Pretty terrible race, lost 1:45 on 4 with a poor bearing and attack, 15s on 5 with a poor contour interpretation, 15s on 6 with a poor route, 30s on 11 with a parallel error and was generally sluggish up all the steep hills and in general. Was pretty sloppy with my compass work and map reading. 5 min back of Eric K. in 16th place.

Pretty satisfied with this Middle race on quite a technical course. Was running pretty well in general, especially on 8 and 9 with Eric and my navigation was pretty good. Made a 30s error on 1 (inefficient route), 2 min on 7 (spaghetti contour interpretation difficulties), 15s on 12 (hesitation) and 1 min on 15 (parallel error/ contouring). Faded a little bit on the second loop, but finished in 10th place about 8 min behind the leader.

Was halfway to the bus station when I realized I forgot my e-ticket, had to sprint to McGill and back to UQAM in only 20 minutes so I wouldn't miss my bus, with my pack on

Shinny at McGill, farily decent pace to the game and only 1-2 subs per team. Good aerobic workout

1 hour free skate at McGill, was partly helping a Phd in my lab group from Vietnam who had never skated before and not a terribly high intensity skate after the shinny
