ahr:174 max:198 shoes: Inov8 X-Talon 212

I really enjoyed this. I was basically out running by myself, but I'm not mad about that, especially because I really wanted to make up for yesterday with my own navigation.
In general I would say this was pretty easy technically, but I recognized out there and focused on keeping moving smoothly.
The woods were awesome - going to wish I was back running in them as soon as I step foot in Eastern Mass woods I think...

Running 4:00 [3] 0.51 km (7:47 / km) +8m 7:13 / km
ahr:138 max:146 shoes: Inov8 X-Talon 212

this did not feel promising for my achilles but it ended up being ok?

Orienteering 43:22 [3] 4.35 km (9:58 / km) +78m 9:09 / km
ahr:161 max:195 shoes: Inov8 X-Talon 212

Overall not so happy with this race. Had some good legs but a lot of stupid mistakes as well. Basically all compass issues - still really need to work more on it. Also a lot of being unfit which didn't feel great. The woods were really lovely though!

Running warm up/down 14:10 [2] 2.25 km (6:18 / km) +11m 6:09 / km

Running 22:00 intensity: (2:00 @2) + (20:00 @4) 4.61 km (4:46 / km)
ahr:139 max:150 shoes: Pegs 38

2x 10min @AT w/ 2 min jog recovery

First rep was debatably too fast for AT and the second was definitely too slow but I was stressing about my achilles so I guess they even out? Coach Kate was impressed about my steady pacing which I'm honored by

realized this was the workout coach made for me for Friday, but seeing as I will not be running a workout on Friday cause of the O this weekend, probably fine

Biking 8:00 [3]
ahr:110 max:152

2 minutes easy, 2 minutes @mile whatever the heck that is on the bike, 4 minutes easy (aka the rest of the workout that I decided to do on the bike to save my achilles)
