Reading and memorizing a monologue while doing a recovery run is a great way to multitask. I was practicing my reading-while-running skills, making sure I was running at a reasonable recovery run pace because I had to speak out loud the whole time to properly memorize, and then memorizing the monologue that I need memorized by tomorrow for an audition on Friday.

I should note that this was on the treadmill - I was not running around town talking to myself.

Ok except for one control that I screwed up really badly. Frustrating to ruin an otherwise good run but...

I was pretty happy with how well I was able to recover and refocus after such a big mistake. I've put up comments on my splits for a course review.

Was going ok but I twisted my ankle again (so done with this) on my way to five which messed up my concentration so I had a really big, dumb wander around five, and then for the rest of the course I was being cautious about my foot placement and I was still making lots of mistakes.
