Well the shows over now. Time to get back to training.

This was fun. I was pretty tired, especially on the first few controls so I was running quite slowly.

Long review:
Start-1: easy up the trail and along the spur

1-2: to the trail and along to the junction and off, over the saddle and down the reentrant. I was a little too far right approaching the reentrant but it only lost me a few seconds.

2-3: to the trail, along to the junction, over the hill and through the trail junction to the saddle and down to the reentrant.

3-4: down to the trail, should have aimed off more left, quickly recognized it when I crossed the trail, and then worked to get back to the trail I wanted to be on. From there I followed along the trail and then up the hill slightly, cutting across at the rock face and going along that contour to the cliff. Looking back on it, it was definitely a better plan to stay on the trail longer and go up the reentrant.

4-5: Easy down the trail and along, getting to the hilltop off the trail.

5-6: Down to the trail (should have aimed further left to the trail) cut off at the bend in the trail and rough compassed to the stream and followed along to the control

6-7: Back to the trail, originally thinking that I would stay on the trail until almost the trail junction but I decided to get to the stream and follow that up (glad I did)

7-8: to the trail and then along the stonewall to the corner, then up the stonewall, aiming a little right to get towards the second stonewall and then ei got a little high, and then took a little to figure out what I had done (I knew something was wrong from the beginning of being in that area)

8-9: Ran to the trail and to the junction and then off, following the contours into the control.

9-10: to the trail and around on the trail (didn't want to go through the swamp) then up the trail and up the reentrant

10-11: to the trail, across along the contour to the road and across (I read the control code wrong at first and when I got to the control I freaked out and had no idea what I could've done wrong, but then I looked at the code and it was right, I had just looked one code ahead)

11-12: easy across to the trail and then off along the contour

12-13: good until the very end when I went off too early, kinda recognized it but then there was an extra trail that freaked me out so I went back up, but eventually I decided that it must have been an extra trail, went to the road and along and quickly found the control

13-finish: easy trail run in

Wow. Rapid decline of sleep.
Rehearsal ended pretty late so I got to bed later than I wanted and then in the morning my moms school called to tell her that she had a late arrival and I woke up to the phone ringing and for some reason thought that it was my alarm that woke me up. So I was up and hour early and had already started my morning before realizing that it was an hour earlier than normal. Yay.

I've been struggling to fall asleep despite how tired I feel and I think its something to do with the fact that I haven't been running. I can't wait to get back onto a normalish training schedule next week

I'm glad that I had the time to do this.
I didn't want to go at first but as soon as I was moving it was nice to be out. I was at a good pace for most of it but when I got to the hill at the end to get back to my house the pace dropped.
