Paddle 2:01:10 [2] 7.55 mi (16:03 / mi)

Lockdown AR - Stage 6

Paddle at Marsh Creek - circumnavigated as much as I could. Wonderful weather; shaping up to be a great day!

Road Bike 4:33:42 [4] 58.46 mi (4:41 / mi)

Lockdown AR - Stage 3

Ride was planned at about 60 miles, with time built in to search for a handful of Geocaches. I did not account well for the length of time that the caches would take. I also did not eat much of anything earlier in the day, so I was fully depleted before the end of this. Despite my body revolting, I had a great time. Beautiful weather and a well-planned route, seeing some great sights along the way.

Lockdown AR - Stage 1

Got home from the bike ride and changed quickly, then right out to Harmony Hill with Rebekah and Noah for a change of pace. I slammed plenty of food in the car to make up for the lack earlier today. If I had done this by myself, I would have been run into the ground. Instead, we had a wonderful time in the dusk and night. Noah loved wearing his headlamp and did a great job moving - he did around 5 miles on foot by himself.

After some frustrating geocaching by myself earlier in the day, we really hit our stride and had a lot of fun, getting the rest of my 10 that I needed. We will definitely be adding this into our trips more often!

Easy ride at home. Warm outside, but way too windy for anything.

Packraft 34:01 [1] 1.14 mi (29:50 / mi)

Maiden voyage in the packraft (that arrived in January...). Took it for a simple spin at Marsh Creek, made some adjustments, then took Noah out for a very short float - much more comfortable.

With the perfect weather coming this weekend, my Lockdown AR is moving up by 4 weeks. I figured that I should have some experience in the boat before relying on it this weekend.

Hard ride at home. Legs felt surprisingly good.

Run (Trail Run) 1:00:59 [3] 6.18 mi (9:52 / mi)
shoes: Topo Terraventure 2 (yellow)

Rainy, sloppy, wet run at Harmony Hill. With the warm weather yesterday, I'm surprised at how much standing water was on the trails. The cold rain at the start was not pleasant, but I warmed up quickly enough for it to be a non-issue. Fun run, despite the legs feeling weak after the ride yesterday.
