Road Bike 1:15:00 [4] 21.0 mi (3:34 / mi)

I had a brilliant plan to bike to a number of DVOA sprint events this summer, but things kept coming up and stopping that. Despite getting back from vacation at noon, I thought it a smart idea to bike to the Schuylkill Center. The heat was hot, so I drove to Berwyn and then biked the 20 miles there. The heat was even hotter on the ride. The approach from the SRT was confusing, and involved a ridiculous hill. Still, made it in one piece. Talked to abiperk before I started for a bit.

Strava struggled to find the satellites, so the beginning of the ride is a bit wonky.

Orienteering 19:57 [5] 1.92 mi (10:23 / mi)
shoes: Topo Terraventure 2 (red)

Super exhausted, so I just took it easier on the first. Very smooth, with no errors of more than 5 seconds. It does look like my route choice from 5 to 6 was suboptimal.
7 PM

Orienteering 20:39 [5] 1.98 mi (10:26 / mi)
shoes: Topo Terraventure 2 (red)

I took a long break to recover, talking with broots for a bit. This course was much more fun, one of my favorites of the summer. Lots of route choice along with the occasional punishment for not looking closely enough at the map. I liked my route choice for all, and only made a tiny mistake approaching 14. I felt really good throughout, running and finishing stronger than any point during the first one.

Road Bike 1:29:54 [5] 20.06 mi (4:29 / mi)

The ride back home. One for the annals - this was the sufferiest of all rides. I struggled to spin the pedals in the easiest gear at times, and have no idea how I made it home in one piece. More food if I plan on this happening again.

Hike/Trekking 3:00:00 [1] 5.0 mi (36:00 / mi)
shoes: Topo Terraventure 2 (red)

Lots of family trekking around Acadia, specifically from sand beach back to Blackwoods campground. Noah did great and loved climbing on the rocks.
4 PM

Mountain Bike (With trailer) 1:30:00 [2] 13.0 mi (6:55 / mi)

Carriage roads with Rebekah and Noah. Much more elevation than expected. Wanted to do more but unfortunately we ran out of time.
6 PM

Hike/Trekking 1:40:00 [1] 3.0 mi (33:20 / mi)
shoes: Topo Terraventure 2 (red)

Hike around the Jordan Pond after dinner. Rebekah carried Noah for the last two thirds. Beautiful evening.

Run (Trail Run) 1:07:54 [3] 7.01 mi (9:41 / mi)
shoes: Topo Terraventure 2 (red)

Last run from Craig's before heading up to Acadia. Through the woods, across the Greenbelt to Fort Williams, then back through Robinson's Woods on the return trip. Beautiful morning!

Mountain Bike 1:57:17 [3] 15.82 mi (7:25 / mi)

Craig took me on a tour of Cape. Some sweet trails at Winnick, a decent spin around the dump, Robinson's Woods II and I, and a few twists and turns in the woods at the end of the street. My back tire had less than 10 psi, but I managed to make the ride work. Lots of fun.
4 PM

Road Bike - with trailer 1:19:01 [2] 14.04 mi (5:38 / mi)

Actually MTB with trailer. Rode with Rebekah and pulled Noah on the East Coast Greenway from Scarborough to Saco and back.

Run (Trail Run) 1:10:54 [3] 6.94 mi (10:13 / mi)
shoes: Topo Terraventure 2 (red)

Run on trails through Cape Elizabeth. I was a bit tired from the drive yesterday, and the trails were pretty technical, which made for slow moving. A beautiful morning, but the humidity is coming fast!
