Run (Trail Run) 43:01 [4] 5.12 mi (8:24 / mi)
shoes: New Balance Leadville 1210

My biking has been strong after UNE, but my running is terrible. Legs are stiff and hamstrings/glutes keep seizing up. This was an effort to mitigate that. Ran at Harmony Hill, but parked at the bridge and ran to avoid elevation. Felt better than expected, but incredibly humid despite the morning coolness.

MTB with Rebekah at Nox. She had not mountain biked in more than a year, and she did pretty well. Trails had held up well from the recent rain, just some water and the occasional mud puddle.

Mountain Bike 1:49:54 [2] 11.84 mi (9:17 / mi)

Ride at Marsh Creek with Mark W. The crazy rain on Monday clearly flooded the lake - it was nearly up in the parking lot when we got there. I think it had gotten all the way across the parking lot at some point! Ride out to the dam and around the bonus loop wasn't bad, trails held up well to the water, only only spot where we actually rode through the lake on a boardwalk. After Mark went home I tried to find the trail that loops around south and east to Reeds Rd., but I couldn't find the continuation at Lyndell Rd. Something to look for next time.

Run (Trail Run) 51:49 [3] 4.78 mi (10:50 / mi)
shoes: Topo Terraventure

Run at Paradise Farm and Harmony Hill. Legs just will not recover from whatever terror I put into them last week (maybe the run? maybe too much too soon after UNE?). That combined with the mid-afternoon humidity/heat and the nasty foods I had just eaten at Noah's daycare open house made for a slog.
