Note

Medial Meniscus tear. Requires surgery, but much better news than an ACL. Very happy. Hopefully get to see the surgeon tomorrow. Snowing pretty hard and sticking now.

Went for a drive today.....does anyone do that anymore? Wanted to see the Nazi Party's hangout of Dunton (The Heinkel Family own it, of WWII bomber manufacture fame. Until very recently aryan murals adorned the spa hotel walls. Someone told them to tone it down apparently) . Lovely spot, but I'll only be back for Nordic probably. Just down from Dunton is CO's only geyser, Geyser Spring. It's underwhelming, but very cool still. Every 30 mins it "boils" for 15 mins. Never spurts out water. Nobody can swim in it. It's 83F, emits CO2 and H2S so if you swim you can pass out and drown.
More Trump foolishness on the trail today. But not worth the print.

Up and down Nimbus. Want to steadily build up to an hour at least. This felt difficult. Haven't done any aerobic exercise in almost three weeks.

Up to Trout Lake for a new activity.....Aqua Jogging......fast, exciting, thrill seeking......this potential spectator sport is not for the faint hearted. Well at least it's not if it snowed this morning which it did. Fortunately my wetsuit did its job and only my head felt like it was in The Southern Ocean. Very pleased I didn't waste any money on a jogging belt. The suit easily kept me vertical. Knee feels very good. But it's all fake.
