Cycling warm up/down 7:50 [1] 1.5 mi (5:13 / mi)

Warmup to Lincoln Park.

Morning Run (trails) 55:00 [4] 5.0 mi (11:00 / mi) +200m 9:47 / mi
shoes: New Balance 479 - V3

Nice run through Lincoln Park. Couple breaks [counted]. Estimating on distance and climb.

Ran up the very nice stream bed to the Y - that was fun and a good workout. Have to come back for that.

Realized the difference between the wetlands and lincoln is that the wetlands roll up and down. In lincoln you're pretty much going all the way up, or all the way down.

Cycling warm up/down 9:00 [1] 1.5 mi (6:00 / mi)

Warmdown from the park.

Morning Run (Tabata Method) 27:20 [4] 2.5 mi (10:56 / mi)
shoes: New Balance 479 - V3

Tabata Method, week 2. 1 mi, 8:31 warmup & 3 min rest before, 3 min rest & 1 mi 8:50 warmdown after.

8 reps of 20 sec sprinting, 10 sec rest. Pulled back on the effort for the first couple to what seems like 170% Max VO2, and that seemed to go well.
