I ran the Hawthorne Hills loop, feeling fairly good again today. I had a bit of knee pain to start with, but running didn't actually seem to aggravate my knee, and I finished the run feeling no worse for it.

Even more encouraging, my knee felt pretty good later in the evening.

I ran via Ravenna Park to Green Lake, part way around the outside (counterclockwise) and back. I felt fairly lethargic before I started running, but my legs felt great once I started, and I had to restrain myself a bit to keep from going sub-6:00 pace on a few exuberant spurts on the way back along Ravenna Blvd.

My right knee felt okay but not great, hurting on the first step, feeling better about a minute later, then starting to hurt again by 15 minutes into the run, before the pain eased slightly as the run progressed. It never felt fine, and I think it was a bit sore afterward. Still, it was not markedly worse after running. Yesterday's bike ride seemed to be the most aggravating thing I've done in a while.
