Running - Trail / Grass (trail) 1:44:00 [2] 11.14 mi (9:20 / mi) +200m 8:51 / mi
shoes: Brooks Cascadia - 1

Ran with Bill Cusworth and Erin Simms (for part of the time) at the DNR and Saratoga trails on Whidbey Island. I felt a bit awkward and stiff (from moving boxes/furniture?) at first, but I felt better after about 30-40 minutes. Erin cut off after about 45 minutes, because she had a sore knee and hadn't been training much.

Paddling / Rowing (kayaking) 35:00 [2] 2.3 mi (15:13 / mi)

Paddled from Log Boom Park, up the Sammamish River a bit, then back. There was a stiff breeze from the Southwest. I felt rusty for the first several minutes, then I got back the feel for paddling.

Roller-skating (inline skating) 6:00 [2] 1.8 mi (3:20 / mi) +10m 3:17 / mi

A very brief skate on the Burke-Gilman Trail a bit to the East and back from Log Boom Park.

Cycling (mtb dirt roads/trails) 2:00:00 [2] 23.2 mi (5:10 / mi) +200m 5:02 / mi
shoes: Nike ACG cycling shoes

Rode the BEAST race #4 bike course plus several more miles out and back on the John Wayne Trail with Liz. The ride was mostly upper aerobic (140s to low-150s) but had many stop-and-go parts earlier in the course during which I was not working much.

Riding scooter 12:00 [2] 2.0 mi (6:00 / mi) +40m 5:39 / mi
shoes: Brooks Trance 4 - 1

Rode to the U-District and back for a lunch meeting about Street Scramble brand urban orienteering events.

My right foot and ankle didn't bother me, but they are still generally sore today. It's weird that they don't seem to be aggravated by riding a scooter but that they hurt while walking around the house.

Running - Road / Track (road) 34:00 [2] 4.16 mi (8:10 / mi) +90m 7:39 / mi
shoes: Brooks Trance 4 - 1

Ran from Terry's, North to 45th St, East to 9th Ave NE, South to the Burke-Gilman, and back via Stone Way. I felt somewhat tired but okay, and it felt good to turn over my legs faster on the downhill parts.
