Mixed-terrain ride in Lexington and Concord with the Cisco gang, following an RSC route. An incredible mix of trails and surfaces, pushing the boundaries of "gravel riding". Lots of hidden gems that even the regular riders in the area didn't know about. All of the recent rain made things a bit slick, but we all survived. Followed up with homebrews on our ride leader's deck. I was expecting a 9-12 ride, so 5 Snickers minis didn't quite hold me over until I got home well after 3.

Rode to Berlin to celebrate the first rainless day since Wednesday. It, of course, rained a bit. Found myself within striking distance of the as-yet unexplored Wachusett Aqueduct and the trails at a nearby flood control dam, and ended up tacking on about 9 miles of non-road riding on everything from smooth stone dust to deep sand to railroad ballast to grass. Lots more to explore in this direction.
