Beautiful morning at Ansonia. Felt pretty bad but was actually running okay. Didn't feel up to one leg on one leg off, so just ran and tried not to walk. I have ruined Ansonia for myself now - it's still gorgeous, but I only took about 10 glances at the map the whole way round I think. Actually just nabbed 10 mins per km for the first time in a while.
Then we went to see Happy Goats, which turned into Happy Cows, which turned into Happy Wine. And then Happy Cows again! A very lovely day in Eastern CT. I think I ate pretty much dairy produce and bread all day. It was amazing.
Spent the whole day in the garden. Totally exhausted. Lots of weeding from some invasive nightmare that popped up in the last week, and planted a border to try and outcompete it. Lots of nice perennials. Garden is going great guns - if it stays this cool, I might get more than one floret of broccoli! Potatoes in trash cans growing like wildfire, they have almost popped out the top, so it's time to stop filling them in. Got some nice salad stuff ready to eat, I'm worried that the peas and berries are going to come just as we go away. That would be sad.

Early morning shuffle round East Rock. Gorgeous run, despite the eau de skunk at the beginning which lingered for a while. Quads are very tired from the weekend!

I've put my Cross Fit membership on hold till after vacation with my back and feeling pretty rubbish in general. So this was a quick two sets of press ups, sits ups and squats.
