Run/Trek with Peter, Cisca, Issac, Matt, and Nicholas from the AZT trailhead in Pine. Nice cool temps at the start (mid-40s), beautiful views and a bit of climbing. Legs are still tired from yesterday's ride.

Left IT band was feeling decent, felt it starting to hurt towards the very end. 3 miles downhill at the end didn't help

The name is very accurate. Super windy on the first killer of a climb, super loose downhill, but amazing views the entire time. probably should have gone with the B loop. 2nd Half of the race was rough. After the 20 mile long climb, with winds so strong I was blown off the bike a few times, didn't think I would make the full 55 mile ride. Pushed through the tired legs, body, and mind to the finish. Even was cramping up the last 5 miles.

Fun time with the Arizona Endurance Series guys, looking forward to the next one. Just to need to ride more before then.
