Trail Run 20:00 [1]

warmupcooldown

Orienteering 44:32 [4] 7.7 km (5:47 / km)

Cherry Creek, red course. Ran well, started a bit too fast and got a little bit tired, the heat didn't help probably. Got pushed a little off course only twice, and was too high on 15, though I thought that it was hung just a little bit too low. A good day, certainly better than missing a control. Results:

Road Run 45:00 [1]

warmuprecoverycooldown

Road Run 4:52 [4] 1.0 mi (4:52 / mi)

Running club, St. Micheal's Mile, new all downhill coarse, too much downhill in my book. Felt decent, but not stellar, legs still had some tightness from last week and last Saturday. 3rd behind Tyler and Cory, who were a ways up. Splits were 70, 76, 74, 70.

Road Run 6:00 [3] 1.0 mi (6:00 / mi)

Level three mile with slower group.

Road Bike 12:00 [2]

commute

Road Bike 1:34:00 [2] 23.0 mi (4:05 / mi)

Parked at 901 along the Poudre trail, headed west to see where the new end was, unfortunately they only added two miles. Rode around the 'burbs at the end then headed east to Windsor and back. Saw was I thought were two great horned owls towards end. Although very capable of tearing my face off, thankfully neither did such a thing.

Trail Run 15:00 [1]

warmup

Orienteering 39:43 [3]

Yeah, so, I skipped #6. No excuse really, didn't know it even happened until download. Still not even sure if I really did skip it, but we'll trust the e-punch. I believe the cause of it was that 5, 6, and 7 were close to a straight line so 6 was somewhat easily over looked, further, between 5 and 6, the back side of the course crossed the line to 6, making that area of the map congested with lines. Too bad, had a good run otherwise with a close race with some dude from Germany. First time ever to make that type of mistake, saw a French dude in the relay at the 2008 WOC mispunch, don't know exactly what he did, I was watching it on TV in Sweden. He was in the lead, then he was just trotting along after he figured out his mistake. Well, still hate the Fox Run map, wish I had time to update some of the many RMOC maps in need of updating.
