road run 5:00 [3] 1.0 km (5:00 / km)

warm up

orienteering 55:02 [5] 9.3 km (5:55 / km)

SVO Red course at Rocky Ridge. Hot and very humid. Pushed as much as possible - especially uphill. Pretended that Doug and Mike were out to get me.

orienteering 23:42 [3] 3.0 km (7:54 / km)

Control Pick-up at Rocky Ridge.

Friday May 21, 2004 #

road run 58:04 [3] 14.4 km (4:02 / km)

Roland Park. Hot and humid. 2:39 split on the interval hill. Local meet tomorrow.

Thursday May 20, 2004 #

cycling 1:14:00 [4] 24.95 mi (2:58 / mi)

Work Commute.

road run 8:09 [3] 2.0 km (4:05 / km)

Road run to the store for some white glue right after getting off the bike. This always feels weird (and difficult). Triathaletes must have to train specifically for this transition.

Wednesday May 19, 2004 #

road run 20:10 [3] 5.1 km (3:57 / km)

Run from work to hill and back in Roland Park.

road run 8:25 [5] 2.48 km (3:24 / km)

Hill intervals. 4x 620m distance, 43m climb. 7%. Walk back down. 2:10, 2:04, 2:05, 2:06. These were hard. Profile and map temporarily here. The track is the red squiggly to the left of the profile next to the "Country Club." this hill is at about 9km on my regular Roland Park run.

cycling 1:12:45 [4] 24.95 mi (2:55 / mi)

Work Commute.

Sunday May 16, 2004 #

trail run 8:00 [3] 1.2 km (6:40 / km)

warm up.

orienteering 1:23:42 [4] 9.9 km (8:27 / km)

HVO A-meet. Blue, day 2. Sebago. A little sloppy on a couple, and my route choice definately needs some work. Will have to do some exercises to correct this. I missed a trail coming out of 10 which was apparently indistinct where Icrossed it. Cost me over a minute.
