Note

I think I made the right decision not going to Canberra this weekend. It seemed quite unusual to have a Sprint Distance qualification with only 30% making the final, based on a forest race with little resemblance to Sprint Distance. Heat allocation also looked uneven, which would have been frustrating for some, and very lucky for others.
That does not seem very fair. Why would we organise competitions that introduce such an element of luck?
