I somehow pulled a muscle in my thigh last weekend. It already feels a lot better, but it's not back to full strength, so I kept it at a trot today. On the upside, I was moving within my navigational abilities, so only had one small error - overshot 5. I thought I would recognize the cliff, but it all looked like an earth bank. Planning to take a few more days easy and then ramp back up to regular training.

Red: 6.2 km, 320 m climb

A rainy, cold morning. I really enjoyed this course, despite the inclement weather!

1 - Poor route choice.
2,3 - A lot of hesitation. Not really sure why.
8 - I was following a couple people and not watching my compass, always a bad idea... Ended up way down the spur just after 7. Realized what I had done when I hit the trail. Corrected from there. Lost quite a bit of time.
11 - Poor route choice. And my legs had nothing left in them on the hills.

Fun weekend of orienteering! Between West Point and this weekend, I'm quite happy with my improvements in reading the map in rocky terrain.
