Running 35:00 [3]

Run in Anzac park with James. Ankle was just a bit stiff for most of the run and I felt like I could run more normally, just slow. It feels like my fitness had completely deserted me in a couple of weeks but I'm hoping a couple more runs will help... So I did a couple of surges up hills which nearly killed me.
James did an extra loop at the end cos he was sick of running at grandma pace, and I shuffled home as the ankle got a bit unhappy. Hoping this was the start of real training.

Running 25:00 [2]

Run in Anzac park. Not raining too much but still very wet and all the creeks were flooding. Ankle was better today and warmed up after a few minutes . Even managed to run on trails rather than just flat roads. Pain was between 1 and 4 out of 10.

another visit to the physio yesterday. things are definitely improving with the ankle and its getting a good range of movement back.
the good news is that I can start running again - just a little bit to start with, but hopefully I'll still be able to make it to the first NOL races.
