kayaking 2:00:00 [3]

been hanging out with Dan and Dad at Boonah for xmas, and we were talking about how the dams are full for the first time in ages, so decided to check them out. borrowed some boats from moec and paddled from near the dam wall at maroon, as far as we could up the creek at the other end and back. great morning out for a paddle, and definitely no chance of getting sunburnt!, but my arms are going to hate me tmw!!

Running hills (Anzac Park TT) 29:38 [5]
shoes: Vibram 5 fingers - speed

second run in the 5fingers. took them out for a splash around anzac park in the rain and mud. went ok, feel the rocks a fair bit through the soles, and my calves were a bit sore towards the end.
pretty happy with the tt time, usually at this time of year its over 30mins, and it was definitely a heavy track today!

Running warm up/down 20:00 [3]

run to and from anzac park

Note
(rest day)

calves are a little sore after running in the 5 fingers... or was that 10hrs of stupid high heels?

happy to be on holidays! (thats when you do nothing right?... oh yeah, maybe a little training would be ok!)

Running 45:00 [3]
shoes: Vibram 5 fingers - speed

run with mark and dan from work, from the hotel near spencer st station, to the yarra, lap of the tan then back along the yarra. nice run, and a nice change to be running in the cold! mark is pretty fit, but poor old dan struggled!
wore my 5 fingers for the first time. they were great, just a little blister. hope I don't hurt too much in the next few days!
