Orienteering race 1:44:00 [3] 8.7 km (11:57 / km)

OY at myers lookout. very overgrown and heaps of lantana - most of the course was jog-walk speed at best. and a shitload of spiders webs. other than that it was quite ok. despite the veg being bad, it actually avoided the worst bits (jog-walk is still better than fighting lantana). one control was a bit wrong, but pretty much impossible to figure out exactly where it should have been in the lantana maze.
olly passed me a few controls before the map change, but there was no way I could keep up. legs too tired from yesterday to run hard through the thick shit. overall it was a nice enough day out. I guess my expectations were so low it was easy to be impressed.

star relay orienteering intervals, with mat as team mate. got a couple of jumping cactuses.

putting out controls for 2 exercises at leyburn. got heaps of nasty burr things in my tights right at the start, and they left fine spikes in my legs. major pain for the rest of the day... and night... and next day.

did the worlds slowest river loop with helen. she was nagging me to go for a ride, but my condition was that it was slow enough not to irritate itb. absolutely no cycling fitness atm.

another visit to syd, this time to get L ITB re-educated. much pain, and twanging of tendons (including in neck), but does feel heaps better already. no running for a day or so.

sprint o ints at southbank, set by kurt. had some trouble reading the map, but felt like the legs were going better than in the last few weeks.

Running 52:00 [3]

run from toowong into southbank, and back after ints.
