A-NZ test match at stillwater. absolute shite. unfortunately I found the first control after I'd given up, and decided that I should actually continue. it didn't really improve. course was cancelled.

Orienteering race 38:49 [4] 4.0 km (9:42 / km)

A-NZ test race at headly rd (woodhill). heaps of fun. some confusion at the start with extra tapes/flags and a good zap from the electric fence. a few mistakes in the low vis, but was getting the hang of it by the end (why couldn't they put the whole week in woodhill??). definitely the best run of the week!

A-NZ test race Aramiro. Steep and physical, but fairly easy nav. exactly the worst kind of race for me right now! would have been really fun if I was fit, but I just spent the whole time slogging up one hill after another.

Orienteering race 1:09:30 [4] 7.7 km (9:02 / km)

loop race. fun! but slow. provided entertainment for the masses by running out of the start in the wrong direction and took a while before I caught the pack again. didn't run too hard - still stuffed after the weekend, and plenty of races to go.

Orienteering race 15:24 [5] 2.5 km (6:10 / km)

A-NZ test and WRE. Waikato uni. Awesomely fun course. not fit enough to run fast, but the course was technical enough that it didn't seem to matter too much. Great area and one of the best sprint races I've run - big thanks to the organisers for that one!!
