Rode from the olds place in Boonah to BBQ lunch at the block with Dan. Still quite sore, but heaps better than yesterday. Getting along ok on the flats, but pretty crap up the hills, and heart rate was going way too high. hopefully a few easy days and I'll be feeling better again.
Start of the mini-rogaine at hidden vale with James. Was feeling totally crap - really tired and legs were still very sore. Was plodding ok on the flat but had nothing on the hills, and couldn't even run down them, so I bailed and left James to clear the rest of the course.
was meant to go riding this morning but woke up in major pain from yesterdays smash-fest. Actually I'm way too sore for this to be from yesterdays training - it wasn't really that hard. maybe its just accumulated 'starting running again' pain. got a massage and managed not to cry.
managed to haul my tired ass out of bed this morning and go training. never really got into it, and bludged around the river loop at the back of the group. got dropped on the corso and didn't care.
spent the ride day-dreaming about september - it'll be warm again and I don't have to train if I don't feel like it!
run to training + 5k warm up, hills, 5k warm down. felt pretty tired this week - the sudden re-start to my running training has been a bit of a shock to the system. was really looking forward to a nice hot shower when I got home to ease those nasty sore muscles... but my housemates had used all the hot water. again.
