This my long run for the week, got STB next weekend, and it was to bloody humid.
Back out at Crusoe,
Nearmap showed a possibility of another body of water in the park, so I went to check it out. Once I got there, I realised I had been there before, just a mining dam, very close to the top of the gully, so doesn't fill up easily.
I then continued up the ridge to the Marne track junction, back pass the tanks, and No 4 and 7 reservoir, before finishing back at the jetty, were I had my customary swim :)
Couple of blokes checking out the Jetty, turns out that they had some input in the design, not happy with the out come. There aren't meant to be any/many flotation units in the 1st section, and whoever installed it, was told.
They said, that the water wasn't meant to get that high. Dont know what went on there, the spillway is only 50m away, and its not hard to see that the Jetty is lower than the spillway :) Looks like they need someone that can read a level
