Morning run this time, makes no difference to the temperature. Up the hill a bit, then out to the left through the zoo and along Bowen Rd. GPS struggled to find satellites in the urban jungle

Had a busy day, so didn't get to the event on time. Ran unofficially.
Very nice out, was going quite nicely. Lost a min on 12, low on 3, and high on 6, and a couple of hesitations, but that was cos the controls had been bought in. Something funny going on with the foot, see what happens tomorrow.
BTW, achieved Goal number one, bet James Robertson :) Got rolled by Dave and Max, but they should be able to do that
Into town to check/set tomorrows Space Race, then wove my way out to Speci Hill, and around along the creek checking possible areas for future Space Racing, then home

Out to Huntly to pick up the truck. Was so bloody cold! Dropped in to see Ken at his Nursery, talked to long, and got colder, next bit out to Huntly was just painful, the faster you go, the colder it was
Marked the Cross Country course in the morning, then was a start official later on. Got out to the orienteering to late for a run, but there were 2 controls still to be bought in, so got them. Couldn't be bothered going out again, so called it a day
Was a big day, out early to put out the last few controls, then overseeing starts, did a stint, supervising in the terrain, before checking control cards (will seriously consider SI for next year) then the presentations, and pack up.
Left home in the dark, got home in the dark. It is a good day, and to see 500 kids enjoy orienteering is most rewarding
Bendigo Primary Schools Champs are tomorrow, put the controls out late, so that there was less chance of them being interfered with. Got dark to quick, so ended up doing most of the safety tapping in the dark

Nice day for a ride, out to Sandhurst Res, then over to Mandurang to check the oval for Friday. Looks like things aren't going to plan, they are going to pour a new concrete cricket pitch on Friday, ooh well, we will just have to fit in, then over to check the O trailer, before going home
