2k easy run pry to the race, felt so so slow, and 3k after with the YM boys, felt better

After being involved in organising or running O events over the last 4 weekends, today I "needed" a break from O. Cross Country race at Blue Jacket, got going OK, but was soon (1k) passed by Wellard, and being threatened by Birchy, held it together through to 3k, then started to wind it up, with a K to go, I set my eyes on Wellard, and ran him down with 200m to go, happy with the days work.
Now the decision, do I go and do a 16k CC race in Geelong next weekend, followed by the Blodslitet the day after, I know I have to get fit, and racing is certainlly the quickest way to do it. Plus, I have to beat Hanny in the Coaches race at JWOC, so I badly need to do something
