Note

Going to start logging my orienteering trainings differently. "Technique" is anything with a specific purpose or a training where full focus is required. "Easy" is more or less just junk miles in the forest.

All by previous trainings will just fall under "easy" as I am too lazy to edit.

orienteering - easy 1:10:00 [2] 10.05 km (6:58 / km)

First, 35 mins with Lukas, Simon, and Adam. Rest was by myself after cutting the course short. Really nice terrain that is quite physically tough. Lidar map with some marshes drawn in on part of the map.

Jog plus a bit of an acceleration to move the legs towards the end

Compass done. I can get a semi-accurate bearing if I am completely still, but as soon as I’m moving it’s bouncing around or pointing in directions that are very clearly not north.

Solid orienteering apart from some mistakes in vague terrain where a compass would have helped.

1st at ~350 watts, the rest generally in 375-400 watts, but last couple most of the time was spent in 400-430 watts

Legs pretty chaffed from the seat post so had to weirdly adjust the saddle for the cool down
